Are you someone who loves to tent camp or are you exploring Alaska in an RV? Girdwood has great spots for you to post up for the night. RV and tent camping spots are only available during the summer.

Tent Camping

Post up your tent at one of Girdwood Campground’s 16 rustic campsites located in the Forest Fair Park. If you’re looking for something a bit more primitive, head 3 miles up a dirt road to Crow Creek Mine. There you can rent one of their 10-12 private campsites.

RV Camping

For those with an RV, you can post up at the Daylodge Parking lot for a small nightly fee or head to Portage Valley. The Daylodge Parking lot is available throughout the summer EXCEPT for the week of the Forest Fair. Neither of these options includes electrical hookups. RV Waste disposal and water is available at the Tesoro Station on the main highway.
